Closeout 114

Hello to our first Broadcast announcement, 

Tonight, we had the opportunity to host our friends and family at our Soft Opening Invite Only Event. Let me tell you, we were BLOWN away by the turnout. You guys are SO amazing and have truly warmed our hearts with your support. 

There are so many hurdles in starting a business, so many unknowns, and unexpected circumstances. But it is the “small wins” that propel you forward. 

Tonight, we didn’t crash and burn. That was our small win. Tonight, our children ran, and played, and ate until their hearts were full. Tonight we saw all our familiar faces and while we may have “seen” and wanted to give so much more of our attention, our minds were spinning behind the scenes. Tonight, the people who fill our village gave us an “I know you’re going to do this” smile. Tonight, we felt the love. 

Tonight we were free to deliver our labor of love to our must trusting tastebuds. Tonight, we also received great feedback and we executed (with many flaws), every order. Tonight we received our first Google 5 star review (thanks for using this platform!), and tonight we started momentum. 

I believe all of us, in every stage of life aspires for the same thing…community.

Community- aspiring for UNITY, within our COMMUNE. Tonight we achieved unity with OUR commune that has developed over the course of the past year and a half. We are so thankful to each and every one of you. 

As I sit here and closeout the night with a warm Brandy the home office, I feel only thankfullness. Thankful that my children enjoyed the evening and that my husband and I were able to have the energy (and willingness ;-)) to have a conversation across our island. Thankful for the smiling faces that brought me joy at every window visit. Thankful for my friends who helped in ways big and small. Thankful for parents, and step parents who found their ways to help so unexpected and perfectly.

Thankful for patience, and grace.

Thankful for kids playing football,

and thankful for bouncy houses.
