Closeout- Week 2

We closed out this week with many small wins. We hit our second largest day in volume and our biggest day with repeat customers! Thank you to everyone who took the time to come and give us a try and to come back again :-)

There is a lot going on these days, and while we continue to wait for a response from the city, there is so much momentum behind what is about to come. I can’t help but think it was just meant to be this way. For those of you that know as well know the trucks were never meant to open before the venue did , but fate disguises itself in odd ways. It was only a month ago that I was saying I know what A looks like and I know what C looks like, but I don’t know how we’re gonna get from A to C. I know A is wonderful and necessary, and I know C is pure bliss, but the one step in between feels out of reach.

However, as we’ve had the chance to serve our community the way we have the past two weeks, I know that what we’re learning is going to lead us to a C that is beyond our imagination. Every visit gives me a sparkle of a new idea, and in just two weeks we have grown in wanting to add to our menu, coming up with new extraordinary venue visions that weren’t clear before, and working through kinks, that would be much more difficult as we manage a busier responsibility. We’re in such a glorious spot right now, when we get to grow with those alongside us. I no longer picture this as a big bang event, it looks, and is clear to me that from A to C, there are a million little steppingstones.

We think all of you who have sent messages, all of you who, on some days have more constructive things to say to us than we do to ourselves. To all of you who have tagged, posted, shared, held the conversation with someone around you and in inspiring way. We feel all the energy! There is so much momentum around this, and we know, deep in our hearts that we will be able to not only make our vision come true, but to serve a niche in our community that our neighbors are looking for!

All we do now, is learn from everyone of these million steps in between A and C. We believe they are sure to make the end vision that much more magical.
